Sale-a-bration is coming.....

Now that Christmas is behind us it’s time to pack away those snowmen stamps and snowflake dies to make room for the Stampin’ Up! Spring/Summer (yes I did say Summer) offering. Not forgetting the amazing event that is ‘Sale-a-bration’.

If you’re not already familiar, Sale-a-bration is a great time to make those longed for purchases, to add some new items to your collection, to stock up on the basics or, if you are new to the hobby, to start building your craft stash.

The reason Sale-a-bration is a good time to order is because for every £45 you spend (excluding p&p) you get to choose a FREE item out of the Sale-a-bration mini catalogue. This year’s Sale-a-bration catalogue contains some fantastic items, some of which co-ordinate brilliantly with the new Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue.

To make things a little easier for you, I am going to put together some purchase suggestions based around the £45/£90 price points. Look out for my posts starting 3rd January, there will be something for everyone regardless of crafting experience. Even better news, as well as your free Sale-a-bration item(s) I will be throwing in some amazing freebies too.

In order to receive the gift items from me, I need you to do two things -

1 - you must enter the current host code when you place your order (info can be found in my order incentives and host codes post).
2 - you need to make sure you DON’T tick the ‘no contact’ box otherwise I don’t know who you are and have no way of getting your freebies to you.

The purchase suggestions I make are to help and inspire you. Sale-a-bration rewards and the incentives that I am offering are based on the amount you spend not specifically the items that you purchase, so feel free to follow my suggestions, mix it up a bit or do your own thing.

The Spring/Summer catalogue runs from 3rd January - 3rd June 2019.
The Sale-a-bration promotion runs from 3rd January - 31st March 2019.

The catalogues will be available to download/view online from 3rd January and I will post links to both, if you would like paper copies (UK customers only) let me know, I’d be very happy to send them to you in the post.

Thanks for reading and Happy New Year,
Katie x

RIP Spirited Snowmen❤️

Well it’s that time of year again, some of the wonderful sets from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue will carry over and perhaps make it into next year's annual catalogue. Sadly though, many will retire.
One of my favourite stamp sets has been the Spirited Snowmen, I’ll be really sad to see it go. I had to do a couple of cards to say goodbye. They are melting under the winter sun but cheerful to the end.
In addition to Spirited Snowmen, I have used Swirly Bird for the sun and fallen branch arms, In the Woods framelits (carry over item) for the trees and hills and the lovely Softly Falling embossing folder.

If you love the snowmen as much as I do then now is the time to get them, they will only be available while stocks last and not beyond 2nd January 2019.

The product links below will take you straight to my Stamping' Up! shop, have a look at my 'Order Incentives and Host Codes' post if you are thinking about making a purchase.

Thanks for looking,

Going out in a blaze of colour...

The Snowfall Thinlits have been my favourite limited release product by far. I have enjoyed using them as snowflakes for winter and Christmas cards but I also love the little flower, leaves and stems in the set.

I wanted to go for something bright and cheerful and so used the colours Lovely Lipstick, Lemon Lime Twist and Mango Melody with Powder Pink as a base for the flower. It’s colours I’ve been wanting to put together for a while, I think it works.

All the sizes of squares in the stitched shapes framelits have been used as well as the classic label punch for the 'Happy Birthday'.

The Snowfall Thinlits are only available until the end of this month, so that’s TWO MORE DAYS, and then they will be gone for good.

The product links below take you straight to my shop, don’t forget to use this month’s host code if you make a purchase, you'll get a little thank you gift from me.

Cute little snowmen......and women

These are some of the cards we will be working in in our next workshop, the Spirited Snowmen set is just so sweet. The cards are 4" (10cm) square so a small piece of dsp, a stitched shape cut from whisper white and the sentiment label is just about all you need. These snowmen are quick and easy to colour, they are after all mainly white. The holly on the red card has been fussy cut and a few red rhinestones have been added for a bit of bling. The Merry Christmas is from a retired set.

I hope you like them,

Christmas Card Workshop

Our first workshop was held this morning. We had 5 lovely ladies attend who all made a brilliant job of the Christmas cards and treat holders they created. They all said they enjoyed it, there were lots of laughs that’s for sure and we are looking forward to doing it all again soon😊.

That snowflake again....

I can’t believe these snowflakes will only be available for another couple of weeks! I’ve kept this card pretty simple in coastal cabana, white and silver. Everything except the word ‘merry’ is die cut. The snowflake is fixed to the card base using dimensionals and has a glittery enamel gem at the centre.

Back soon,
