Another wedding card, this time a beautiful bouquet

Another wedding card, this time on very vanilla cardstock using beautiful bouquet and the new delightfully detailed laser cut dsp.

I cut the oval surround piece from the laser cut dsp using the cream side and stuck it to whisper white card cut a fraction larger. The bouquet stems are soft sea foam, the leaves mint macaron and the flowers whisper white, highland heather and so saffron. I stamped the so saffron flower in ink of the same colour to add a little detail.

The sentiments are stamped using highland heather.

I love the versatility of this set, there are so many different bouquets that can be put together using different flower shapes and colours and the sentiments are beautiful.

A wedding card using Colourful Seasons

I started out wanting to make a pretty floral wedding card but the sentiment 'May all your tomorrows be as happy as today' would be just as well suited to an anniversary, engagement or birthday card

The base of this card is in crumb cake with a petal pink layer on top, the main image and sentiment layers are very vanilla.

I started by stamping the branches in crumb cake and added the blossom in petal pink, calypso coral and calypso coral stamped off once. I used a sponge dauber with petal pink ink to soften the edges of the vanilla square and circle and stamped the sentiment in crumb cake.

I punched a couple of tiny holes using a small single hole punch and threaded a small piece off grapefruit grove twine through. The sentiment was then placed on the card using dimensionals.

A few flower blossoms were stamped in petal pink with calypso coral stamens. These were then die cut and stuck on the card, some tucked under the circle, some attached to it.

I think this is a lovely card for all seasons, hope you like it.

A colourful card for a sunny day

It is so hot, hot, hot at the moment that my card making has been reduced to early mornings only! I had fun with this one though, the colours are so bright and bold it makes me smile.

I used Coastal Cabana for the card base and a piece of 6x6 dsp in Georgous Grape from the Brights collection. I trimmed the paper down slightly so that it would leave a border of Coastal Cabana showing. Ovals were then cut from Coastal Cabana and Highland Heather.

The cake and sentiment are both from the new stamp set Blow Out The Candles, this is such a versatile set featuring bold images of the cake, balloons and candles. The cake outline was stamped (on Whisper White card) in Gorgeous Grape and the frosting stamped in Highland Heather. The cake stand outline was stamped in Coastal Cabana, the infill colour is also Coastal Cabana but stamped off once to lighten it a shade.

Once cut out using the matching dies the cake and stand were stuck to the oval and Gorgeous Grape ribbon was adhered. The whole piece was then stuck to the Coastal Cabana card base.

The sentiment was stamped in Gorgeous Grape and cut using the classic label punch. As the sentiment was a little longer than the punch allows I cut the strip a fraction narrower than the label would be and fed it in from the top to cut the points.

This card could be made in so many different colours from the bright collection but I do love the new purples.

Thanks for looking,
Katie x
