Blossoms in Bloom

Blossoms in Bloom is one of the bundles in the latest catalogue that really jumped out at me. The dies are so big that very little else is needed to create a 'wow' card.

I've used pastel shades for this card, grey and pink go so well together and the pool party shimmer ribbon contrasts nicely.

It's a pretty quick card to make,  a white square sits on top of the card base, the die cut layers are stuck onto it. I cut an extra little flower to sit on top of the ribbon bow.

Under the bow is a vellum strip and length of ribbon which tuck in behind the white square. The Happy Birthday sentiment has been stamped in grey granite onto a 1/2" wide strip of whisper white with the ends shaped using the lovely label pick a punch. Glue dots are great for sticking ribbon to card or for when you want to stick something, like the little die cut flower, to ribbon.
