Out come the butterflies again, this time I have gone for a vintage look using browns and blues. I also couldn't resist adding a little sparkle!
The card base is 6 inch square and the first layer is a square of seaside spray cardstock embossed using the Subtle 3d embossing folder, I've also added a little pretty peacock to the edges using a blending brush. The next layer, also embossed with the Subtle 3d ef is a piece of Sand and Sea dsp. I've torn the edges and added a little soft suede using a blending brush. I've used the brick die from the new (out 2nd March) Brilliant Wings and stamped some flowers from Dragonfly Garden.
A piece of seaside spray metallic ribbon and some linen twine has been placed across the middle and stuck down at the back before adding it to the seaside spray layer.
I've also added a few Elegant Faceted Gems to the body of the butterfly, these are the white ones and have been coloured using a pretty peacock blend marker. I've tied a piece of linen twine underneath the butterfly and then separated the strands.
The sentiment is also from Dragonfly Garden.
Thanks for looking x
