Leave a little sparkle

I bought this stamp set a while ago and thought it was about time it saw ink! I think florals, trees and leaves, well nature in general really is more my comfort zone.

Having said that I do really like the detail in the stamp and like the way that detail stands out embossed in silver.

The body of the unicorn is coloured using the ivory blend marker with the colour lifter also used. The mane and tail are coloured using blend markers in the following colours, highland heather, petal pink, pool party and balmy blue and then the horn and stars are daffodil delight.

The stamped stars from Stargazing were added all around the edge of the stitched rectangle using pool party and more stars from Leave a little sparkle using highland heather.

A square of dsp 14cm x 14cm was added to the card base and the stitched rectangle (with a highland heather layer behind) was stuck to the left hand side.

The sentiment was stamped on a separate piece of whisper white and trimmed to a small rectangle, a little loop of ribbon added on one side. This was added to the card using dimensionals.

Lastly a few sequins and pearl rhinestones were added for extra sparkle. Definitely a card for a little girl.

All the items used come from the current annual catalogue and will be available at least until the end of May but don’t forget not everything will carry over to the new catalogue coming out in June.

Here’s a list of the products used with links to my shop.

Back soon, probably with something flowery😉 x
