Stitched Leaves....Just Because

 Here they are again, the stitched leaves dies, and this time I’ve used three of the leaf shapes on the one card.

The colours used here are sahara sand, soft suede and seaside spray, I love seaside spray with brown shades.

I started by cutting the leaf shapes from the sahara sand layer and then embossing it using the Subtle 3D embossing folder. I should have stamped the sentiment first but even after adding texture it stamped quite well. The sentiment is from Lovely You.

The next step was to add the leaf vein by lining up the sahara sand and soft suede layers and placing the dies within the cut out leaf shapes. I was able to run all four through together without using any tape to hold them in place.

I stuck the two layers together and added the die cut rope detail (a die from Smooth Sailing).

Lastly I cut the smallest leaf complete with vein detail from seaside spray and added a blue gem and a linen thread bow.
